Before the War Is Over is a 60-minute solo show. A darkly comic exploration of survival, displacement, and what it means to chase the American dream while your homeland is under siege. Blending humor with deeply personal storytelling, it confronts everything from childhood trauma to culture shock, capitalism, and the quiet weight of watching a war unfold from afar.
Premiered at Caveat, New York, on May 15, 2026.
The May show raised $2,000 for Kids Art Hope, supporting children and families in Eastern Ukraine.
